TOEFL Private Tutoring in Sydney (Australia)
Manhattan Review is an American test prep company that has been providing reliable prep services for the Test of English as a Foreign Language since 1999. We serve cities in Australia, Asia, Europe, and North America with TOEFL prep options that allow our students to quickly fulfill their TOEFL requirements. Sydney students can select either on-site TOEFL prep courses, online TOEFL prep classes, or private TOEFL tutoring, all of which combine the highest degree of academic rigor with the industry's best accommodation of individual student needs. Manhattan Review's private TOEFL tutoring features targeted instruction that is differentiated by our students' academic goals, current English-language proficiency, initial levels of TOEFL competence, and optimal modes of TOEFL learning. Our TOEFL tutoring is the fastest and most assured route to TOEFL success.
Manhattan Review's TOEFL tutoring is oriented around the TOEFL requirements of specific schools, which can vary greatly across and even within universities in the English-speaking world. Most undergraduate and graduate applicants to Yale University must score a 100 on the TOEFL, but the standard at the Harvard University Graduate School of Education is more specific (at least 26 on each of the TOEFL's four sections, for a minimum composite score of 104). Undergraduate applicants to the University of Oxford confront one of the world's most stringent TOEFL mandates at 110, but graduate applicants to the same institution can be considered with a 100. A number of good schools will accept students who perform more modestly on the TOEFL, including New York University (92), George Washington University (80), UC Berkeley (80), and Purdue University (79). TOEFL prep is therefore highly dependent on student ambition. Manhattan Review's private TOEFL tutors craft personalized learning plans for diverse student goals.
Acceptance to the best universities in the world is common among Manhattan Review's international student body. An abridged list of the institutions to which our TOEFL clients have gained admission includes Stanford, the University of Pennsylvania, Johns Hopkins, Princeton, the University of Southern California, Harvard, and the University of Sydney. Many of our students have subsequently been hired by the best companies in the United States and Australia, such as Exxon Mobil, IBM, Amazon.com, Dow Chemical, Elcom Technology, Crown Group Holdings, Macquarie Atlas Roads, and Lend Lease Corporation. Manhattan Review's TOEFL prep classes and private tutoring will help you secure the high-quality education that is a prerequisite to professional accomplishment. Contact us today, and we'll be happy to answer any questions you may have about how our TOEFL prep services can help you get started on a rewarding path of achievement.

Meet a Sydney TOEFL Tutor: Pekka T.
Pekka T. is a native of Helsinki, Finland. He is a graduate of the University of Helsinki, with a bachelor's degree in ethnology, and Dartmouth College, with a master's degree in liberal studies. He scored a 115 on the TOEFL as part of his application to graduate school, and he has seen a large number of his TOEFL students either match or surpass that elite level.
Pekka has lived in Sydney for the past three years, splitting his time between TOEFL prep tutoring and his work for a privately funded cultural institute that strives to preserve the artifacts of indigenous peoples. Outside of his work as a tutor and ethnographer, Pekka is active as an athlete. His favorite sports are football, rugby, and tennis, though he has also been known to play badminton and racquetball.
