GMAT Private Tutoring in Melbourne (Australia)
Manhattan Review's private tutors for the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) are the best available in Melbourne. Our GMAT tutors hold degrees from elite universities, received top-notch scores on the GMAT themselves, and have many years of experience producing successful results for their students. Just as important, our tutors have a passion for teaching, and they truly enjoy helping their students. One of the keys to the effectiveness of Manhattan Review's GMAT tutoring programs is customization. We understand that the best program for one client may not work so well with someone else, and this is why we start the process with a thorough evaluation of each student. After we have assessed your individual situation, we will create a learning plan just for you, taught by a tutor who is an outstanding match for your learning style. Our customized learning plans have helped students get accepted into the MBA programs at the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business, Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, Melbourne Business School, and many other selective institutions. Manhattan Review's GMAT tutoring programs have been the first step toward careers at Melbourne's best firms (such as Federation Limited, Ford Australia, and Penrite Oil Company), and some of our former clients are now employees of Fortune 500 companies (including Exxon Mobil, General Electric, and CVS Health).
The GMAT is used by graduate business programs to predict success in these rigorous curricula. It is a requirement for applicants to most American MBA programs, and it is widely accepted at schools in the United Kingdom and Australia as well (including such programs as the MBA at the University of Melbourne and the Master of Science in Public Policy and Management at Carnegie Mellon University's Adelaide campus). The GMAT's predictive validity has been contested, with the Graduate Management Admission Council (the organization that administers the test) claiming much higher correlation of grades in business programs to GMAT scores than has been shown by independent research. This debate, however, is irrelevant to the prospective MBA student – GMAT scores are an entrenched admissions requirement, and it is therefore in the applicant's best interest to do as well on the exam as possible. Manhattan Review's private GMAT tutors and GMAT prep courses in Melbourne will help ensure that your GMAT scores impress admissions committees. Our GMAT prep tutors and prep classes in Melbourne are the first step toward your future career as an executive at a large company, an independent businessman/businesswoman, or whatever you wish to achieve.

I was able to raise my maths score significantly from 28 (25%) to 43(71%)... So in total I raised my GMAT score from 490 (36%) to 580 (64%). The AWA score was 5.5 in both tests… I got into one of my two first choice programs. Thanks again and looking forward to hearing from you again!

Meet a Melbourne GMAT Tutor: Sabine V.
Sabine V. was born and raised in Hamburg, Germany. Both of her parents immigrated to Germany from Sydney, and as a child she often dreamed of visiting their native country. Sabine ended up completing her university education entirely in Australia, with an undergraduate degree in finance from the University of New South Wales and an MBA from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. Her own GMAT scores placed her well above the median at her alma mater and in the 95th percentile of all test-takers. She has worked for Manhattan Review in Melbourne as a GMAT tutor and as our local director of educational outreach programs since 2009.
Sabine's approach to tutoring can best be described as meticulous but empathetic. "The business world may be dog-eat-dog, but that doesn't mean I have to tutor that way," she says. "In my years of tutoring, I've learned that success on the GMAT and an enjoyable learning process are compatible and complimentary." Sabine's GMAT tutoring clients have been accepted to many selective MBA programs in Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, and around the world. "The success of my students shows me that I am teaching the right way," she proudly asserts. Sabine enjoys spending her free time with other members of Melbourne's community of German expatriates, with whom she speaks her native tongue, shares news of the old country, and consumes German food and drink.
